Bonn, 25 March 2024. WirtschaftsWoche has included three Redeker lawyers on its list in the special publication “Legal All Stars”. Dr Frank Fellenberg, LL.M. (Cambridge) and Prof Dr Olaf Reidt are respectively ranked second and third in the fields of environmental and construction planning law. Prof Dr Andreas Frieser has been awarded second place in inheritance law. The ranking is based on assessments by fellow competitors and a jury of experts, selecting the three most highly reputed lawyers in each of 31 areas of law – retrospectively for the year 2023.
Dr Frank Fellenberg, LL.M. (Cambridge) has been working for Redeker as a lawyer specialising in environmental and planning law since 2001. His field of expertise includes advising project developers and government authorities on environmental law in major infrastructural projects. He is particularly active in the energy and transport sectors.
Prof Dr Olaf Reidt specialises in construction planning law. He advises clients on energy industry projects such as power stations, LNG terminals and major infrastructural projects such as motorways, airports and railways. Olaf Reidt has been with the law firm since 1992.
Prof Dr Andreas Frieser has been with Redeker since 1984 and is an expert in all issues and matters relating to inheritance and foundation law. He advises and serves as counsel for private individuals, medium‑scale companies, foundations, associations and prominent personalities.
As for the methodology used to determine the Legal All Stars, WirtschaftsWoche states the following: “Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRl) sent out almost 26,000 survey questionnaires to commercial lawyers on behalf of WirtschaftsWoche. The largest group is made up of lawyers in corporate and labour law with more than 5,600 participants each, while the smallest field is medical law with 511 lawyers from 333 law firms. 31 specialist areas were evaluated in sum total. 92 lawyers from 63 law firms made it into the ranks of the Legal All Stars. First, the lawyers from the recognised law firms were asked about the most highly reputed competitors in their field. A jury of corporate lawyers, professors, litigation funders and consultants then voted on the list, assigned a weighting to law firms and lawyers and proposed additions.”
