Bonn, 20 August 2020. Juve‑Verlag today nominated the Redeker Sellner Dahs law firm for the Juve Award in the category “Law Firm of the Year for Technology and Media”.
The practice's 15‑member department for IP/IT, media and data protection has seen a dynamic development in recent years. It has kept pace with the profound technological and legal developments taking place in these fields, while the range of clientele as well as the number of staff working in the department have grown continuously.
“The department has grown significantly over the past 12 months; in addition to three new attorneys being hired, the unit has been further strengthened by the appointment of members as partners. We are delighted that the tremendous commitment and outstanding professional work of our colleagues is being recognised with this nomination for the Juve Awards,” commented Andreas Okonek, Chairman of the firm's Management Committee, on the nomination.
In recent years, Redeker Sellner Dahs has been nominated several times in various categories, and has won the awards “Law Firm of the Year for Antitrust Law 2019”, “Law Firm of the Year in Environmental and Planning Law 2016”, “Law Firm of the Year in White‑Collar Criminal Law 2014” and “Law Firm of the Year in Public Commercial Law 2007”.
Juve‑Verlag has been commending the best law firms in Germany through its awards since 2003. Five nominations are made in a total of 18 categories – 15 for law firms and 3 for corporate law departments at companies. This year, the Juve Awards is to take place as a TV live stream for the first time. Juve will be broadcasting the awards ceremony, hosted by former FIFA referee Urs Meier, live from its editorial offices from 7:00‑9:30 p. m. on 29 October.
