Career

Studied law and economics in Bonn and Munich. 1982 first State examination, 1986 second State examination. Research assistant for Church Law and Public Law at the University of Bonn with Prof Dr Schlaich, 1981 to 1985. Legal traineeship in the legal department of a broadcasting company in 1986.

Joined the firm in 1987.

Press and broadcasting law, publishing and copyright law, new media and information technology law, constitutional media law.

Preventive advice in cases involving imminent critical media coverage, legal protection in the event of inaccurate media coverage: various DAX 40 companies, personalities from the fields of business, culture and politics as well as private individuals; basic procedures in media regulation (e. g. status and role of Länder media authorities), for public broadcasting (e. g. remuneration for cable feed, online activities such as the Tagesschau app), websites of municipal governments.
